Oh it has been a busy couple of months and I have been remiss in updating my site! I really like my new job, but it sure cuts into the time one can spend doing all the important stuff, ya know.
Well, anyway, I have updated my website spindlepins so take a look.
Went to Kid 'N Ewe & Llamas, Too last month and picked up a Bosworth midi spindle in purpleheart. What a sweet spindle! Here is a picture of it

I also got a spindle as a present to myself for getting a job under my deadline! From The Wheel Thing, Janet enticed me with an 'Emily" 
lacewood spindle from Adam Mielke. It is really beautiful! I have a lacewood niddy noddy, too. Put them in the sun and they just glow.
Okay I think this is enough for today. Must get ready for work. I hope to have more later. Got some bobbins for my shuttles finally and am in the process of unweaving my scarf as I did not like the way it came out. Live and learn!

I participated in a distaff exchange on the Sheep Thrills list recently. Yesterday, to my surprise, my return distaff came. It is a wonderfully soft merino/silk blend, spun up in the poofiest 2 ply yarn by 'Marcy of Oley' :-) I am going to cherish it each time I use it. I will be putting my silk pictured below on it shortly and taking it with me to my guild's Christmas party on the 16th to show it off!
